"Our school system is extraordinary because of the incredible students, parents, staff, and communities who bring it to life each day. Their energy and passion are infectious, and I am grateful for all they do to make Coffee County Schools great."

Biography

I am humbled and honored to serve as the Coffee County School System Superintendent. While being Superintendent, our district and local school teams have developed a five-year strategic plan with a clear vision for our students and staff, emphasizing strong student achievement, teachers' professional learning, and a genuine commitment to excellence for each school. It is quite exciting to be a part of this purposeful journey where schools and the school system jointly commit to excellence in providing multiple educational opportunities for all students and families. For twenty-eight years, I have had the opportunity to serve the Coffee County School System as an educator. I graduated from New Brockton High School, Class of 1990, and have worked in various leadership positions at three of the four campuses. Both of my sons have been enrolled in the school system since they entered Kindergarten; my oldest son Blake, graduated from Zion Chapel School, Class of 2017, and my youngest son, Brady, graduated from Zion Chapel School, Class of 2022. Our family also lives in the district and are proud supporters of the system and recognize each school's and community's uniqueness. I always say each school has its own DNA, and you need to understand, respect, and appreciate it. Again, it is my pleasure to serve the Coffee County School System.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart,

as working for the Lord, not for others.”

Colossians 3:23
